Sec. 2876. Required investments in improving child development centers

Of the total amount authorized to be appropriated for the Department of Defense for Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization activities of a military department, the Secretary of that military department shall reserve the following amounts of the estimated replacement cost of the total inventory of child development centers under the jurisdiction of that Secretary for the purpose of carrying out projects for the improvement of child development centers: An amount equal to one percent of such cost for fiscal year 2023.
An amount equal to two percent of such cost for fiscal year 2024. An amount equal to three percent of such cost for fiscal year 2025. An amount equal to five percent or such cost for fiscal year 2026. The term child development center has meaning given the term military child development center in section 1800(1) of title 10, United States Code.
