Section 7448 of title 10, United States Code, is amended as follows: Paragraph
(5)of subsection
(a)is amended to read as follows: The cadet may not obtain employment, including as a professional athlete, until after completing the cadet’s commissioned service obligation. . Subsection
(b)is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: A cadet who violates paragraph
(5)of subsection
(a)by obtaining employment as a professional athlete is not eligible for the alternative obligation under paragraph (1). . Subsection
(c)is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(2)and
(3)as paragraphs
(3)and (4), respectively; and by inserting, after paragraph (1), the following new paragraph (2): that a cadet who obtains employment as a professional athlete before completing the cadet’s commissioned service obligation has breached an agreement under such subsection; . Subsection
(d)is amended— by striking with respect to an officer who is a graduate of the Academy and inserting with respect to a cadet ; and by striking officer’s and inserting cadet’s . Subsection
(f)is amended by striking the terms and inserting each term . Section 8459 of title 10, United States Code, is amended as follows: Paragraph
