Sec. 1229. Report on Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated operatives abroad

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives, and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate a report that includes a detailed description of— all Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated operatives serving in diplomatic and consular posts abroad; and the ways in which the Department of State and the Department of Defense are working with partner nations to inform them of the threat posed by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated officials serving in diplomatic and consular roles in third party countries.
