In this section, the term covered project means a project for navigation authorized by section 1401(1) of the WIIN Act (130 Stat. 1708). In the case of a covered project for which the non-Federal interest has advanced funds for construction of the project, the Secretary shall reimburse the non-Federal interest for advanced funds that exceed the non-Federal share of the cost of construction of the project as soon as practicable after the completion of each individual contract for the project.
