Section 133 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2020 ( 33 U.S.C. 2327a ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: The term eligible pump station means a pump station that— is a feature of a federally authorized flood or coastal storm risk management project; or if inoperable, would impair drainage of water from areas interior to a federally authorized flood or coastal storm risk management project. ; by striking subsection
(b)and inserting the following: The Secretary may carry out rehabilitation of an eligible pump station, if the Secretary determines that— the pump station has a major deficiency; and the rehabilitation is feasible. ; and by striking subsection
(f)and inserting the following: To the maximum extent practicable, the Secretary shall prioritize the provision of assistance under this section to economically disadvantaged communities. .
