Section 729 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 ( 33 U.S.C. 2267a ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (5), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (6), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: sea level rise; coastal storm damage reduction; and streambank and shoreline protection. ; and in subsection (d)— in paragraph (9), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (10), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following:
New York-New Jersey Watershed Basin, which encompasses all the watersheds that flow into the New York-New Jersey Harbor and their associated estuaries, including the Hudson, Mohawk, Raritan, Passaic, Hackensack, and Bronx River Watersheds and the Hudson River Estuary; Mississippi River Watershed; and Chattahoochee River Basin, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. .
