(b)of section 2603 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking at least . Subsection
(a)of such section is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph (1)— by striking or his designee and inserting (or an individual designated by the President) ; and by striking him and inserting the member ; in paragraph (1), by striking his field and inserting the field of the member ; in paragraph (3), by striking his recognized potential for future career service and inserting the recognized potential for future career service of the member ; and in the matter following paragraph (3)— by striking his both places it appears and inserting the member’s ; and by striking him and inserting the member .
