Section 168(a)(1) ( 29 U.S.C. 3223(a)(1) ) is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking staff development and inserting professional development for staff ; in subparagraph (C), by inserting professional development and after the the first place it appears; by amending subparagraph
(D)to read as follows: technical assistance and the training of members of State boards and local boards through grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, and other arrangements with business and labor intermediaries; ; in subparagraph (G), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (H), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: the training of staff at one-stop centers on trauma-informed approaches, age, gender and racial biases, and the unique safety challenges faced by survivors of gender-based violence; and assistance and training for employers, programs, and staff that mentor youth. .
