Section 6(a)(1) of the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020 ( Public Law 116–145 ; 22 U.S.C. 6901 note), as amended by section 302, is further amended— by redesignating subparagraphs
(F)as subparagraph (G); and by inserting after subparagraph
(E)the following: Systematic rape, coercive abortion, forced sterilization, or involuntary contraceptive implantation policies and practices. . The amendment made by subsection (a)— takes effect on the date of the enactment of this Act; and applies with respect to the first report required by section 6(a)(1) of the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020 submitted after such date of enactment.
