Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection may use up to $100,000,000 of amounts referenced in section 230(a) of division F of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 ( Public Law 115–141 ), section 230(a)(1) of division A of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019 ( Public Law 116–6 ), section 209(a)(1) of division D of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 ( Public Law 116–93 ), and section 210 of division F of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 ( Public Law 116–260 ) for mitigation activities, including land acquisition, related to the construction of border barriers on Federal lands. Amounts described in subsection
(a)may be transferred to the Bureau of Land Management, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the United States Forest Service, and the National Park Service for the purposes described in such subsection. The Commissioner shall submit a notification to the Committees on Appropriations of the Senate and the House of Representatives prior to the obligation of the amounts described in this section.
