Section 2208(c) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 658(c) ) is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking for 4 years ; in paragraph (2)(B), by inserting compared against the performance in the prior year after progress ; and in paragraph (4)— by redesignating subparagraphs (A), (B), (C), (D), (E), and
(F)as paragraphs (B), (C), (D), (E), (F), and (G), respectively; and by inserting the following new subparagraph: the total number of qualified positions to be filled by occupation, grade, and level, or pay band; .
