Section 113 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 551 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ), is amended— in subsection (c)(2), by inserting of members and civilian employees after inclusion ; in subsection (l)— in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph (A), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as subparagraph (C); and by inserting after subparagraph
(A)the following new subparagraph (B): efforts to reflect, across the civilian workforce of the Department and of each armed force, the diversity of the population of the United States; and ; and in paragraph (2)(B), by inserting and civilian employees of the Department after members of the armed forces ; and in subsection (m)— by redesignating paragraph
(7)as paragraph (8); and by inserting after paragraph
(6)the following new paragraph (7): The number of civilian employees of the Department, disaggregated by military department, gender, race, and ethnicity— in each grade of the General Schedule; in each grade of the Senior Executive Service; paid at levels above grade GS-15 of the General Schedule but who are not members of the Senior Executive Service; paid under the Federal Wage System, and paid under alternative pay systems. .
