Sec. 2113. Study on accessibility of public transportation

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall submit to Congress a report that includes— a description of the challenges faced by each of the populations described in subsection
(b)when riding public transportation; and recommendations to improve the accessibility of federally-funded public transportation for the populations described in subsection (b). The populations described in subsection
(a)shall be— pregnant women; and individuals living in areas of persistent poverty, as such term is defined in section 172(l) of title 23, United States Code, as added by this Act, and individuals that are unbanked or underbanked.
