Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall conduct a study on technologies and methods that law enforcement may use to determine whether a driver is impaired by marijuana. The study conducted under subsection
(a)shall be carried out by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in consultation with any other agency the Secretary determines appropriate. There is authorized to be appropriated $10,000,000 to carry out this section.
