In this subpart: The term Center means an eligible entity that enters into an MBDC agreement with the Assistant Secretary. Except as otherwise expressly provided, the term eligible entity — means— a private sector entity; or a public sector entity; and includes an institution of higher education. The term MBDC agreement means a collaborative agreement entered into between the Assistant Secretary and a Center under the MBDC Program. The term MBDC Program means the program established under section 733.
