Sec. 1014. Juab County conveyance

In this section: The term County means Juab County, Utah. The term Secretary means the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service. The term Nephi Work Center conveyance parcel means the parcel of approximately 2.17 acres of National Forest System land in the County, located at 740 South Main Street, Nephi, Utah, as depicted as Tax Lot Numbers #XA00–0545–1111 and #XA00–0545–2 on the map entitled Nephi Plat B and dated May 6, 1981. Not later than 1 year after the date on which the Secretary receives a request from the County and subject to valid existing rights and such terms and conditions as are mutually satisfactory to the Secretary and the County, including such additional terms as the Secretary determines to be necessary, the Secretary shall convey to the County without consideration all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Nephi Work Center conveyance parcel.
Any costs relating to the conveyance under paragraph (1), including processing and transaction costs, shall be paid by the County. The land conveyed to the County under paragraph
(1)shall be used by the County— to house fire suppression and fuels mitigation personnel; to facilitate fire suppression and fuels mitigation activities; and for infrastructure and equipment necessary to carry out subparagraphs
(A)and (B).
