Notwithstanding the land use planning requirement of sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1712 , 1713), on written request by the City of Hyde Park, Utah (referred to in this section as the City ), the Secretary shall convey, without consideration, to the City the parcel of public land described in subsection (b)(1) for public recreation or other public purposes consistent with uses allowed under the Act of June 14, 1926 (commonly known as the Recreation and Public Purposes Act ) ( 43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.). The parcel of public land referred to in subsection
(a)is the approximately 80-acre parcel identified on the map entitled Hyde Park Land Conveyance Act and dated October 23, 2017. The map referred to in paragraph
(1)shall be on file and available for public inspection in appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management. The exact acreage and legal description of the land to be conveyed under this section shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary. As a condition for the conveyance under this section, all costs associated with the conveyance shall be paid by the City.
