In this title, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, the Committee on Finance, the Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Ways and Means, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives.
