Section 1666(a) of National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ; 113 Stat. 2617) is amended by striking Strategic Command and inserting Space Command . Section 2279b of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (b)— by redesignating paragraphs (7), (8), (9), and
(10)as paragraphs (8), (9), (10), and (11), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(6)the following new paragraph (7): The Commander of the United States Space Command. ; and in subsection (f), by striking Strategic Command each place it appears and inserting Space Command . Section 605(e) of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 115–31 ; 131 Stat. 832) is amended— in the subsection heading, by striking and inserting Joint Interagency Combined Space Operations Center ; and National Space Defense Center by striking Strategic Command each place it appears and inserting Space Command ; and by striking Joint Interagency Combined Space Operations Center each place it appears and inserting National Space Defense Center . Section 2278(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking Strategic Command and inserting Space Command . Section 1612(a)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ; 130 Stat. 2590) is amended by striking Strategic Command and inserting Space Command .
