Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 127 Stat. 3541), as most recently amended by section 1222(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 ( Public Law 116–92 ), is further amended— in the section heading, by striking and inserting the vetted Syrian opposition ; vetted Syrian groups and individuals in subsection (a), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking December 31, 2020 and inserting December 31, 2021 ; by striking subsections
(b)and (c); by redesignating subsections
(d)through
(m)as subsections
(b)through (k), respectively; and in paragraph
(2)of subsection (b), as so redesignated— in subparagraph (J)(iii), by redesignating subclause
(I)as subparagraph
(M)and moving the subparagraph four ems to the left; by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)through
(F)and
(G)through
(J)as subparagraphs
(B)through
(G)and
(I)through (L), respectively; by inserting before subparagraph (B), as so redesignated, the following new subparagraph (A): An accounting of the obligation and expenditure of authorized funding for the current and preceding fiscal year. ; by inserting after subparagraph (G), as so redesignated, the following new subparagraph (H): The mechanisms and procedures that will be used to monitor and report to the appropriate congressional committees and leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives any unauthorized end-use of provided training and equipment or other violations of relevant law by appropriately vetted recipients. ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: Any other matter the Secretary considers appropriate. .
