Section 120 of the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 ( 34 U.S.C. 20123 ) is amended— in subsection (d)— in paragraph (4), by striking or at the end; in paragraph (5), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: developing, enlarging, or strengthening culturally specific victim services and responses related to, and prevention of female genital mutilation or cutting. ; and in subsection (g), by striking $2,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018 and inserting $2,200,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2029 .
The amendments made by subsection (a)(1) shall not take effect until October 1, 2020.
