Subsection
(a)of section 5 of the Central Intelligence Agency Act of 1949 ( 50 U.S.C. 3506 ) is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking ( and inserting 50 U.S.C. 403–4a )., ( ; 50 U.S.C. 403–4a ), in paragraph (6), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (7), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph (8): Upon the approval of the Director, provide, during any fiscal year, with or without reimbursement, subsistence to any personnel assigned to an overseas location designated by the Agency as an austere location. .
