Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall brief the appropriate congressional committees on a strategy for leveraging the sanctions imposed pursuant to section 302B of the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 ( 22 U.S.C. 9241b ) to convince countries that import North Korean laborers in a manner described in section 104(b)(1)(L) of that Act ( 22 U.S.C. 9214(b)(1)(L) ) to end that practice. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Relations and the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives.
