Not later than 60 days after the date on which a cash prize is awarded under this subtitle, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives a report on the prize competition that includes— a statement by the Committee that describes the activities carried out by the Committee relating to the duties described in section 123; if the Secretary has entered into an agreement under section 124, a statement by the Marine Debris Foundation that describes the activities carried out by the Marine Debris Foundation relating to the duties described in section 123; and a statement by 1 or more of the judges appointed under section 125 that explains the basis on which the winner of the cash prize was selected.
