The Secretary shall carry out a study to determine the feasibility of a project for hurricane and storm damage risk reduction for any major metropolitan area located in the study area for the comprehensive study authorized under the heading Department of the Army—Corps of Engineers—Civil—Investigations under the Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2013 ( Public Law 113–2 ) that was not included in a high-risk focus area identified in the study. A study carried out under subsection
(a)shall be considered to be a continuation of the comprehensive study described in that subsection.
