The Inspector General of the Department of the Treasury shall conduct, supervise, and coordinate audits and investigations of any program established under this title or the amendments made by this title. The Inspector General of the Department of the Treasury shall issue a report not less frequently than 2 times per year to Congress and the Secretary of the Treasury relating to the oversight provided by the Office of the Inspector General, including any recommendations for improvements to the programs described in subsection (a).
