In this title: The term Commissioner means the Commissioner of Social Security. The term COVID–19 emergency period means the period of months— beginning with the first month that begins on or after the date of enactment of this Act; and ending with the sixth month that begins on or after the last day of the public health emergency described in section 1135(g)(1)(B) of such Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1320b–5(g)(1)(B) ).
