Section 3505 of the CARES Act ( Public Law 116–136 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking (not to exceed one academic year) ; and by striking such academic year and inserting such period ; and in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by inserting first before occurred ; and in paragraph (3), by striking for all or part of such academic year . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect as if included in the enactment of the CARES Act ( Public Law 116–136 ).
