Nothing in this Act shall be construed to allow noncompliance with or in any way to diminish, and shall instead be construed to be in addition to, the rights or benefits that an essential worker is entitled to under any— Federal, State, or local law, including regulation; collective bargaining agreement; or employer policy. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect the application of the provisions of sections 5343 or 5545 of title 5, United States Code, with respect to pay differentials for duty involving unusual physical hardship or hazard, or environmental differentials.
