Section 2534 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking paragraphs
(2)through
(5)and redesignating paragraph
(6)as paragraph (3); by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following new paragraph: The following components of vessels, to the extent they are unique to marine applications: Gyrocompasses. Electronic navigation chart systems. Steering controls. Propulsion and machinery control systems. Totally enclosed lifeboats. ; in paragraph (3), as so redesignated, by striking subsection
(k)and inserting subsection
(j); and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The following components of T–AO 205 class vessels: Auxiliary equipment, including pumps, for all shipboard services.
