Not later than July 30, 2021, the Secretary of the Navy, in consultation with the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, shall submit to the congressional defense committees report with a strategy to ensure full spectrum electromagnetic superiority using the ALQ–249 Next Generation Jammer. The report required under subsection
(a)shall include the following elements: A description of the current procurement strategy of the ALQ–249 and the analysis of its capability to meet the RF frequency ranges required in a National Defense Strategy
(NDS)conflict. An assessment of the ALQ–249's compatibility and ability to synchronize non-kinetic fires using other Joint Electronic Warfare
(EW)platforms. A future model of an interlinked/interdependent electronic warfare menu of options for commanders at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
