The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security, Comptroller General, or Member of Congress conducting oversight pursuant to section 302 of this Act, shall be authorized to take photographs of conditions in any facility in the United States used for purposes of maintaining custody of or otherwise housing individuals apprehended at the southern border of the United States, including unaccompanied alien children (as defined in section 462(g)(2)) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 279(g)(2) ), but shall not publish photographs with personally identifiable information without permission.
