Section 141(f)(3) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1018(f)(3) ) is amended— by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)as subparagraphs
(B)and (C), respectively; and by inserting before subparagraph
(B)the following: provide information relating to student loans to the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or the ombudsman of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau designated under section 1035 of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 ( 12 U.S.C. 5535 ) as requested by the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or that ombudsman; .
