In this subtitle: Except as otherwise provided, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the congressional defense committees; and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives. The term foreign military sales program means the program authorized under chapter 2 of the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2761 et seq.).
