Section 458 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1087h ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking paragraphs (1), (4), and (5); and by redesignating paragraphs (3), (6), (7), and
(8)as paragraphs (1), (2), (3), and (4), respectively; by striking subsection (b); and by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (b). Section 422B(c) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1072b(c) ) is amended— by striking paragraph (3); and by redesignating paragraphs
(4)through
(6)as paragraphs
(3)through (5), respectively. The amendments made by this section shall take effect on October 1, 2019.
