Section 1016 of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 ( 12 U.S.C. 5496 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The Director shall issue a quarterly report to Congress containing— the number of investigations opened and closed by the Bureau relating to payday loans and car-title loans; the number of enforcement actions that have been taken or referred relating to payday loans and car-title loans; an estimate of the amount of fees customers have paid relating to payday loans and car-title loans; an estimate of the number of times in the previous 12 months a typical payday loan customer has rolled over their loan; and an estimate of how many car-title loan customers lost their car in the previous 12 months. .
