Section 502 of the Incentive Grants for Local Delinquency Prevention Programs Act of 2002 ( 42 U.S.C. 5781 ) is amended— in the section heading, by striking and inserting Definition ; and Definitions by striking this title, the term and inserting the following: “this title— the term mentoring means matching 1 adult with one or more youths for the purpose of providing guidance, support, and encouragement through regularly scheduled meetings for not less than 9 months; and the term .
