Section 224(b)(6) ( 20 U.S.C. 9134(b)(6) ) is amended— by striking subparagraph
(A)and inserting the following: programs and activities under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (including programs and activities under subparts 2 and 3 of part B of title II, and parts A and B of title IV, of such Act); ; in subparagraph (C)— in clause (i), by striking and after the semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: the activities carried out by the State in support of adult education and literacy under title II of such Act; and ; and in subparagraph (D)— by inserting “, business,” after “economic”; and by striking “and health information” and inserting “, health information, critical thinking skills, digital literacy skills, financial literacy and other types of literacy skills”.
