Section 4002(b) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ( 42 U.S.C. 300u–11(b) ), as amended by section 53119 of Public Law 115–123 , is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking $900,000,000 and inserting $841,000,000 ; in paragraph (4), by striking $900,000,000 and inserting $848,000,000 ; by striking paragraphs
(5)through (8); by redesignating paragraph
(9)as paragraph (7); and by inserting after paragraph
(4)the following new paragraphs: for each fiscal year during the period of fiscal years 2020 through 2023, $400,000,000; for each fiscal year during the period of fiscal years 2024 through 2027, $500,000,000; and; .
