Section 214(a) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 ( 33 U.S.C. 2352(a) ) is amended— by striking paragraph
(3)and redesignating paragraphs
(4)and
(5)as paragraphs
(3)and (4), respectively; and in paragraph (4), as so redesignated— by striking 4 years after the date of enactment of this paragraph and inserting December 31, 2022 ; and by striking carry out a study and inserting carry out a followup study .
