The Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) shall assemble on a bi-monthly basis a management summary of the current status of actions under the consolidated audit corrective action plan
(CAP)with respect to the critical audit capabilities and associated infrastructure of the Department of Defense, the military departments, the Defense Agencies, and other organizations and elements of the Department of Defense. The Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) shall develop and implement a centralized monitoring and reporting process that captures and maintains up-to-date information, including the standard data elements recommended in the Implementation Guide for OMB Circular A–123, for all corrective action plans Department of Defense-wide that pertain to critical audit capabilities and associated infrastructure.
