Section 2218(f)(3) of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 1022, is further amended— in subparagraph (F), as redesignated by such section 1022— by striking 30 days after and inserting 30 days before ; in clause (i), by inserting proposed before date ; in clause (ii), by striking was and inserting would be ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: A detailed account of the criteria used to make the determination under subparagraph (B). ; and by inserting after subparagraph (F), as so redesignated, the following new subparagraph:
The Secretary may not finalize or execute the final purchase of any vessel using the authority under this paragraph until 30 days after the date on which a report under subparagraph
(E)is submitted with respect to such purchase. .
