Sec. 908. Availability of translators

Until the end of the period for providing assistance relating to a covered disaster, the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Chief of Engineers shall ensure that the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Corps of Engineers, respectively, have each assigned not less than 2 translators who are fluent in English and Spanish to each of the following regions: The region surrounding San Juan, Puerto Rico. The region surrounding Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
The region surrounding Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The region surrounding Ponce, Puerto Rico. Until the end of the period for providing assistance relating to a covered disaster, the head of each other agency providing assistance in Puerto Rico relating to a covered disaster shall ensure that the agency has assigned not less than 1 translator who is fluent in English and Spanish to Puerto Rico.
