Section 804(c)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note) is amended— by striking subparagraph (C); and by redesignating subparagraphs
(D)and
(E)as subparagraphs
(C)and (D), respectively. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement shall be amended to provide for special simplified procedures for purchases of property and services under the rapid prototyping and rapid fielding programs established under section 804 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note).
