Section 1234 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by inserting or 2018 after fiscal year 2017 ; and in subsection (b), by inserting for a fiscal year after expenditure of funds .
