Sections 744A and 744B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ( 21 U.S.C. 379j–41 ; 379j–42) shall cease to be effective October 1, 2022. Section 744C of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ( 21 U.S.C. 379j–43 ) shall cease to be effective January 31, 2023. Effective October 1, 2017, section 304 of the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act ( Public Law 112–144 ) is repealed. The Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act ( Public Law 112–144 ) is amended in the table of contents in section 2 by striking the item relating to section 304.
