Subsection
(a)of section 2330a of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold and inserting in excess of $5,000,000 . Subsection
(c)of such section is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking contracts for services and inserting staff augmentation contracts ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The term staff augmentation contracts means contracts for personnel who are subject to the direction of a government official other than the contracting officer for the contract, including contractor personnel who perform personal services contracts (as that term is defined in section 2330a(g)(5) of this title). . Such section is further amended— by striking subsections
(g)and (h); and by redesignating subsections
(i)and
(j)as subsections
(g)and (h), respectively.
