Section 1226 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1056; 22 U.S.C. 2551 note) is amended— in subsection (a)(1)— by striking the Government of Jordan and the Government of Lebanon and inserting the Government of Egypt, the Government of Jordan, the Government of Lebanon, and the Government of Tunisia ; by striking efforts of the armed forces and inserting “efforts as follows: Efforts of the armed forces ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
Efforts of the armed forces of Egypt and the armed forces of Tunisia to increase security and sustain increased security along the border of Egypt and the border of Tunisia with Libya, as applicable. ; and in subsection (c)(4), by striking along the border and all that follows and inserting along the border of the country as specified in subsection (a)(1). . Subsection
(f)of such section is amended by striking December 31, 2018 and inserting December 31, 2019 . The heading of such section is amended to read as follows: .
