Section 516(c)(2) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2321j(c)(2) ) is amended by striking and to the Philippines and inserting to the Philippines, and to other major non-NATO allies of the United States located in the Asia-Pacific region (including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand) and other maritime ASEAN member states .
