Sec. 7502. Report on groundwater contamination

Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act and annually thereafter, the Secretary of the Navy shall submit to Congress a report on the groundwater contamination from the site that includes— a description of the status of the groundwater contaminants that are leaving the site and migrating to a location within a 10-mile radius of the site, including— detailed mapping of the movement of the plume over time; and projected migration rates of the plume; an analysis of the current and future impact of the movement of the plume on drinking water facilities; and a comprehensive strategy to prevent the groundwater contaminants from the site from contaminating drinking water wells that, as of the date of the submission of the report, have not been affected by the migration of the plume.
